The strongest entity in the series, at least among 4546B's fauna, would've been the currently extinct creature the Gargantuan Fossil (dubbed by fans the Gargantuan Leviathan) at Multi-City Block level. The sequel, Subnautica: Below Zero, takes place in 4546B's Arctic region (known as 'Sector Zero') and is set two years after the original game.Īt first glance, Subnautica is not a very powerful verse, with its strongest extant fauna capping at City Block level and Superhuman or higher in speed, like the Rock Puncher who can reach Supersonic+ speeds (excluding the Crabsquid's EMP which may reach Relativistic+ speeds).
